Digital Open Access Publication of “Skrifter”
DKNVS Skrifter is one of the world’s oldest scholarly publication series, first published in 1761. In collaboration with Universitetsforlaget, we now publish Skrifter digitally with open access on the Idunn platform, with English-language editions available on the Scandinavian University Press platform.
DKNVS Skrifter is an interdisciplinary publication series covering all academic disciplines. Skrifter is published once or twice a year as edited collections or monographs. DKNVS Skrifter is classified as a Level 1 publication channel in the Norwegian Register for Scientific Journals, Series and Publishers. Submissions in Norwegian, Danish, Swedish and English are accepted on equal terms.
The New Publication Process
- Manuscripts and publication proposals should be sent to the DKNVS administration: post@dknvs.no
- The DKNVS Board approves publications before they are submitted to Universitetsforlaget.
- Since 2024, editorial responsibility has rested with Universitetsforlaget’s publishing editor, who also oversees peer review and the production process.
- DKNVS Skrifter is published with open access under the Creative Commons CC BY-NC 4.0 licence.
- Authors may order printed copies at their own expense, according to Universitetsforlaget’s price list.
